Official IngramSpark Print Specifications
A consolidated reference of IngramSpark’s official print rules — bleed requirements, margin minimums, trim sizes, and full-wrap cover formula.
1. Bleed Requirements
IngramSpark requires 0.125 in (3.2 mm) bleedon all sides for any page or cover element that extends to trim.
Official reference: IngramSpark File Creation Guide
2. Safe Margins
- Minimum safe zone: 0.5 in (12.7 mm) recommended
- Do not place text near trim or fold area
- Inside margin should account for binding type
Ingram emphasizes conservative safe areas to avoid print defects.
3. Full-Wrap Cover Formula
Full Height = Trim Height + (2 × Bleed)
Spine width is calculated using page count and paper type. Ingram provides downloadable templates for exact dimensions.
